Technology Services & Support

Professional microphones and a wireless presentation remote on a courtroom desk.

The Court Technology Office supports all technology systems used across the Sixth Judicial Circuit. This includes planning, implementation, maintenance, and training for courtroom and administrative technology.
The team evaluates new tools, develops custom applications, and provides technical support for computers, communication systems, audio/visual equipment, and software. The office also coordinates with Information Technology departments in Pasco and Pinellas counties, as well as the Office of the State Courts Administrator.

Information Systems

The Court Technology Office maintains a secure network connecting court locations across Pasco and Pinellas counties. This network provides access to case management systems, internet services, shared resources, and printing.
Technical support and training are available for court staff on hardware, software, and systems such as the judicial viewer and case management platforms.

Courtroom Technology

Laptop and high-definition display on a courtroom desk.

Courtrooms across the circuit are equipped with audio and visual technology to support the presentation of evidence.

Available equipment includes:

High-definition displays
Document cameras
Wireless laptop connections
Multimedia presentation systems

These tools allow users to present documents, videos, and other digital materials during hearings and trials.

Equipment is available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. Some equipment requires training, which must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance.

Videoconference Technology

The Court Technology Office provides support for video conferencing across all court locations. This includes both hardware systems and platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Video conferencing allows for remote testimony and participation in hearings across the circuit’s courtrooms, helping reduce travel time and costs for participants.
