How the Administrative Office of the Courts supports court operations and services.

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) supports the daily operations of the Sixth Judicial Circuit.
This team manages the administrative and operational functions that allow judges and court staff to focus on delivering fair and timely justice.

Our mission

The courts are committed to:

Protecting and declaring the rights and responsibilities of the public
Upholding and interpreting the law
Providing a fair and impartial forum for resolving disputes
Supporting solutions that address ongoing legal and social challenges

What Court Administration Does

The Administrative Office of the Courts manages the business and operational side of the court system, including:

Budgeting and finance
Human resources and staffing
Technology systems and support
Court facilities and planning
Court reporting services
Interpreter services (spoken and sign language)
Purchasing and cost management

These services ensure that court operations run efficiently across Pasco and Pinellas counties.

Supporting Court Operations

Court administration helps ensure that:

Court facilities are operational and accessible
Staff and resources are available where needed
Technology systems support court proceedings
Coordination with other agencies is maintained

This work allows judges to focus on their constitutional responsibilities in the courtroom.

Leadership

The Trial Courts Administrator oversees court administration and reports directly to the Chief Judge. Responsibilities include:

Managing administrative staff and court services
Supporting case management and court operations
Implementing policies established by the Chief Judge
Coordinating services across divisions and locations

These services ensure that court operations run efficiently across Pasco and Pinellas counties.
