RE: CHILD SUPPORT AND ALIMONY DEPOSITORY ADMINISTRATIVE

PROCEDURES

 

Pursuant to section 61.181, Florida Statutes, the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pinellas County and the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County operate depositories to receive and disburse payments ordered by the circuit court for child support and alimony.

 

To implement administrative procedures to accommodate the collection and distribution of these payments, it is

 

ORDERED:

 

1. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pinellas County and the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County shall have the authority to recalculate any installment payments ordered to be paid through the child support or alimony depositories so as to make the depositories' computer systems charge those payments consistent with the pay periods of the employer or other income source of the obligor.

 

2. The depositories shall deduct Clerk's fees for payments received only in accordance with section 61.181.

 

3. These procedures are administrative only and shall not allow the Clerk to change the total amount of support ordered.
