Members of the Florida Bar, in good standing, may apply to the Sheriff of Pinellas County for a picture identification card that would allow access to the Pinellas County Justice Center (CJC) through the employee entrance. See Administrative Order 2010-040 for details.
- Download Application Form.
For assistance in the application process, you may visit the Sheriff’s Court Security office on the first floor of CJC, or contact the Sheriff’s office at 727.464.7120.
PLEASE NOTE: the Express Access ID card does NOT mean that an attorney will be permitted to bypass security. The attorney must comply with any security measure (walking through magnetometer, hand-held scans, or personal searches). At the bailiff’s discretion, the attorney will either be directed to the front of the line, or directed around the magnetometer so that they may be scanned by hand.
The identification card is contingent upon:
- completed application
- passed background check
- approval from the Chief Judge of Sixth Judicial Circuit
- payment of processing fees
