Opinion 80-02

February 20, 1980

Dear Judge:

This is in response to your inquiry of December 10th, 1979, wherein you inquire as to the propriety of your serving on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army Unit in your area.

The eight responding members of our Committee of ten were of the unanimous opinion there is no reason why you cannot serve on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, providing you do not engage in any fundraising activities.

Yours truly,

James T. Carlisle, Chairman
Committee on Standards of Conduct Governing Judges
