Opinion 80-14
September 30, 1980
Dear Judge:
This is in response to your inquiry as to whether you may appear on a local
Public Television station to ask questions of candidates who are running
for Seminole County School Superintendent. Six of the members of the committee
who responded were of the opinion that the Canons prohibit your appearance
as an impartial interviewer to ask questions of the candidates.
Yours truly,
James T. Carlisle, Chairman
Committee on Standards of Conduct Governing Judges
