ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. PI-CIR-96-87 S1196087

IN RE: COURT COSTS

Section 47 of Chapter 96-350, Laws of Florida, authorizes the imposition of court costs in addition to stated fines that are assessed in accordance with Section 318.18, Florida Statutes; and
In order to provide for the imposition of costs associated with the operation of the Pinellas Police Standards Council, it is

ORDERED:

1.The costs of the Pinellas Police Standards Council associated with the operation of the Police Applicant Screening Service (PASS) Program shall be considered court costs authorized by Section 318.18(11), Florida Statutes.

2. The Circuit and County Courts in Pinellas County are hereby authorized to impose and the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Pinellas County is authorized to collect an additional $2.00 on all contested and uncontested traffic cases, criminal and civil, excluding parking fines, bicycle and pedestrian violations.

3.The authority for the imposition and collection of the costs provided herein shall be effective from October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997.
