ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. PA/PI-CIR-96-103 S1796103

RE: UNIFIED BUDGET

In order to provide for the uniformity in the administration of budgets within the Sixth Judicial Circuit and to document expenditures of state and county agencies for the reimbursement by the State, and to ensure that expenditures of the courts, county and state agencies are documented in a uniform manner, it is

ORDERED:

1.Annually, after consultation with the administrative judges of the circuit and county courts and the heads of county and state agencies as appropriate, the Courts Administrator shall prepare proposed budgets for Pasco and Pinellas Counties. Such budgets shall be prepared in a uniform format which itemizes proposed expenditures by the requesting agency. The Courts Administrator shall submit such budgets to the Chief Judge for his or her approval.

2.Expenditures from funds appropriated to accounts over which the Court has approving authority by the Boards of County Commissioners of Pasco and Pinellas Counties shall be approved by the Chief Judge or his or her designee.

3.To the extent possible, the budget shall be prepared in accordance with Section 216.183, Florida Statutes.
