IN AND FOR PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA

 

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO.: 87-14

 

 

RE:  DEFERRED PAYMENT SCHEDULES AND DELINQUENCY FEES IN TRAFFIC

 

         WHEREAS, the Court may order a deferred payment schedule for the payment of fines and costs within the County Court, Traffic Divisions, and

         IN ORDER to provide for the orderly disposition of all such fines, costs and fees in the Traffic Divisions of the County Court, it is

         ORDERED:

         1)         The Clerk of the Circuit Court shall add delinquency fees imposed pursuant to Florida Statutes ss 318.15, and 322.245 of the Florida Statutes (1985) as part of the total amount to be paid in any deferred payment schedule ordered by the Court.

         2)         That for accounting purposes, the first payment or payments to be made under any such deferred payment schedule shall constitute the delinquency fee assessed pursuant to the above paragraph.

         3)         That in the event the delinquency fee is assessed pursuant to the provisions of s 322.245, Florida Statutes (1985) and the fine and delinquency fee are not timely paid resulting in the issuance of a commitment order, the Clerk of Court shall prepare such commitment order in such a manner that all the assessed fines, costs and delinquency fees still owed, shall be reflected on the face thereof.
