RE: TITLE IV-D CASES
SUBSTITUTION OF COUNSEL
Eugene
Ellis Waldron, Jr., Esquire, has been counsel of record for the Florida
Department of Revenue (DOR) in Title IV-D cases in Pinellas County where
private counsel was necessary. Steven
Paul Johnson, Esquire, informed the Chief Judge that he will provide
representation for the DOR in Title IV-D cases where private counsel is necessary,
effective August 1, 2009. Steven Paul
Johnson, Esquire, has requested that the court authorize a substitution of
counsel in all Title IV-D cases where Eugene Ellis Waldron, Jr., Esquire, has
been appointed. DOR and Eugene Ellis
Waldron, Jr., Esquire, have consented to the substitution of counsel in
accordance with Rule of Judicial Administration 2.505(e). Accordingly,
IT IS ORDERED:
1. Effective
August 1, 2009, Eugene Ellis Waldron, Jr., Esquire, is removed and Steven Paul
Johnson, Esquire, is substituted as counsel of record in all cases in which Eugene
Ellis Waldron, Jr., Esquire represented the DOR while exercising its authority
pursuant to the provisions of Title IV-D of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. §651, et seq. in Pinellas County.
2. The Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Pinellas County is hereby ordered to amend the records in the CJIS system in
Pinellas County to reflect the substitution of Steven Paul Johnson, Esquire,
(Pinellas County SPN 02644369), for Eugene Ellis Waldron, Jr., Esquire,
(Pinellas County SPN 02481952) as counsel of record effective August 1, 2009 in
all Title IV-D cases where Eugene Ellis Waldron, Jr., Esquire was counsel of
record for the DOR.
3. At the request of any party a copy of
this Order shall be filed in any action which has not reached final disposition
or in which post-judgment proceedings are currently pending, or in closed cases
which are reopened after this date by the DOR exercising its authority pursuant
to the provisions of Title IV-D of the Social Security Act, 42 USC, §651, et
seq.
