PROGRAM
In order to provide fair compensation to mediators, to ensure that the Sixth Judicial Circuit manages the appropriation provided by the Florida Legislature for mediation services, and to comply with section 44.108, Florida Statutes, it is
ORDERED:
1. Eligibility for court provided family mediation services shall be calculated using the combined gross income of the parties.
2. Effective July 1, 2007, the rates for payment to mediators contracting with the Sixth Judicial Circuit to conduct court-provided mediation shall be:
a. Juvenile Dependency Mediation – $200.00 per session;
b. Family Mediation – $300.00 per session for cases where the parties’ combined gross income is greater than $50,000 but does not exceed $100,000; and $200.00 per session when the parties’ combined gross income is $50,000 or less, and;
c. County civil Mediation – $50.00 per hour, except small claims pretrial mediation, which is $22.00 per hour.
All other terms and conditions of Administrative Orders 2005-005 PA/PI-CIR, 2005-030 PA/PI-CIR, and 2005-032 PA/PI-CIR remain in full force and effect.
