RE:     ELECTRONIC JURY SELECTION - GRAND JURORS – PASCO COUNTY

            Pursuant to Section 905.37, Fla. Stat., and Fla. R. Jud. Admin. 2.100, the chief judge of each judicial circuit shall cause a list of those persons whose names have been drawn and certified for jury duty in each of the counties within that circuit to be compiled; and

            From the lists so compiled, the chief judge shall cause to be selected, by lot and at random, a list of prospective grand jurors.  It is therefore,

ORDERED:

            Jed Pittman, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County shall cause the Pasco County computer system to be programmed to select from the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle database by lot and at random a list of 345 names of eligible prospective statewide grand jurors for submission by the chief judge to the State Courts Administrator on or before February 15, 2007, in accordance with law and to select by lot and at random 166 names of eligible prospective county wide grand jurors as required for the Courts in Pasco County .  Data should be submitted on 3 ½” Windows format disk in accordance with Attachment A .

            Administrative Order 2005-077 PA-CIR is hereby rescinded .

            DONE AND ORDERED in Chambers at St . Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida, this _______ day of November 2006 .
