RE:
APPROVAL OF COMMERCIAL DELIVERY SERVICE PURSUANT TO FLORIDA PROBATE RULE
5.040
Whereas, Florida Probate Rule 5.040 provides that the Chief Judge may approve a commercial delivery service that requires a signed receipt for purposes of providing formal notice under the Probate Rules, it is
ORDERED:
1. The following commercial delivery services requiring a signed receipt may be used for formal notice pursuant to Florida Probate Rule 5.040 in cases pending in the Sixth Judicial Circuit:
a. Airborne Express
b DHL Worldwide Express
c. Federal Express
d United Parcel Service
2. Other commercial delivery services may be added to this approved list upon application to the Chief Judge.
