RE:     TRAFFIC COURT ASSIGNMENTS

 

 

WHEREAS, to provide for the orderly administration of traffic citations issued by law enforcement agencies within Pinellas County, it is hereby

 

ORDERED:

 

1)         All traffic citations issued by law enforcement agencies listed hereinunder shall be returnable to the 66th Street Government Center.

2)         All traffic citations issued by law enforcement agencies listed hereinunder shall be returnable to the North County Traffic Facility.

3)         Traffic citations issued by the Pinellas County Sheriff and the Florida Highway Patrol shall be returnable in the following manner:

a)         All traffic citations issued for which the alleged violation occurred on or south of Park Boulevard shall be returnable to the 66th Street Government Center.

b)         All traffic citations issued for which the alleged violation occurred north of Park Boulevard shall be returnable to the North County Branch Facility.

 

4)         Any other agency authorized to issue traffic citations shall make the citation returnable to the traffic court nearest to the location of the alleged traffic offense.

 

5)         The chief judge may adjust the assignment of cases to balance the workload in the county without further modification of this order.

 

6)         Administrative Order PI-CTY-02-02 is hereby rescinded.
